Isparta University of Applied Sciences does not offer direct institutional scholarships for international graduate students. However, candidates can apply for the state-funded

“Türkiye Scholarships (Türkiye Bursları)” program. Detailed information and applications can be found via the official link: www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr Self-funded students are also welcome to apply to our institute during the designated application periods.

Candidates must submit their applications online through the ISUBÜ student information system during the intake period. The general required documents for graduate programs (Master's and PhD) include:

v  Bachelor's or Master's degree diploma (with an official Turkish or English translation).

  v  Official Academic Transcripts.

  v  A valid Passport copy.

v  Certified Turkish language proficiency certificate (if available).

  v  Passport-sized biometric photograph.

Note: Recognized international exam scores or specific GPA limits may apply depending on the department criteria published in the relevant term application guide.

Application dates vary by semester (Fall and Spring terms) and are explicitly announced on our official Graduate School website (www.lisansustu.isparta.edu.tr). Applications are fully online. You can track your evaluation status by logging into the application portal where you submitted your documents. The Academic Calendar outlines the exact official start of classes (usually September/October for Fall and February for Spring).

Once you are officially accepted and have completed the initial mandatory procedures (such as paying the required tuition fee deposit), an official “Acceptance Letter (Kabul Belgesi)” will be automatically generated and made available on your online student portal. You can download this official document to present to the Turkish Embassy or Consulate in your home country to obtain your Student Visa.

For Master's programs instructed in Turkish, English proficiency is generally not mandatory but highly recommended. However, for PhD programs and programs specifically instructed in English, a valid foreign language score (YDS, YÖKDİL, or an internationally recognized equivalent like TOEFL iBT) is required as per the Higher Education Council (YÖK) regulations. Specific score criteria are updated in each term's admission call.

If your graduate program's medium of instruction is Turkish, holding at least a “B2 or C1 level Turkish Proficiency Certificate” (from TÖMER or Yunus Emre Institute) is mandatory to start your courses. If you do not possess this certificate, you will be granted a 1-year leave of absence to complete Turkish preparatory school. You can register for Turkish courses at our university's Language Center or any recognized TÖMER center right after your university placement.

Tuition fees for international students are determined annually by the university and vary depending on whether the program is a Master's or a PhD. Current tuition fees are published under the "Uluslararası Öğrenci" announcements section on the Registrar's Office website. Payments can be securely made online worldwide via credit/debit card through the university's payment portal to access your acceptance documents. Living expenses in Isparta are relatively affordable compared to larger Turkish metropolitan cities, with average accommodation and grocery costs being student-friendly.

International graduate students in Isparta can choose between state-run student dormitories (KYK, subject to international quota availability), various private student dormitories located around the campus, or renting private apartments/shared flats close to the university faculties in the city center.

State dormitory (KYK) registration dates and criteria for international students are organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports following official university enrollment. Private dormitories offer flexible facilities (single/shared rooms, study halls, internet, meal plans) with varying prices. Registration for private dormitories is handled directly by contacting the respective dormitory administrations upon your arrival in Isparta.

The full list of active graduate programs, including Master's (with or without thesis) and PhD options, along with their specific specific quotas, can be found directly on the official website of the Graduate School of Education: lisansustu.isparta.edu.tr.

The approved Academic Calendar for each educational year—detailing registration periods, course selection dates, midterms, finals, and official holidays—is regularly published on the official ISUBÜ Student Affairs website (oidb.isparta.edu.tr) as well as our Graduate School page.

When you arrive at the university, your first point of contact should be the “International Student Office / Registrar’s Office (Öğrenci İşleri Daire Başkanlığı)” and subsequently our “Graduate School of Education (Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsü)” office. The administrative staff will assist you with submitting your physical documents, final enrollment validation, and setting up your student automation account.

For any technical or procedural issues encountered during registration, you can directly email the Graduate School at lisansustu@isparta.edu.tr or reach out via the contact numbers listed on our institutional directory. Inquiries sent during official working hours are typically processed and responded to as promptly as possible by our international student advisors.
